The 826 PSO 80mm O-Groove Recess Mount Gate Wheel is designed for a compact, internal installation within the sliding gate frame.  This type of sliding gate wheel is also known as an internal gate wheel. These are specifically designed to fit within the bottom rail of your gate frame for a clean, low-profile look. Manufactured with a welded structural steel support, this assembly delivers a consistent, smooth rolling performance while maintaining a discreet appearance.

Fitted with two 6202 2RS sealed bearings, the wheel ensures quiet operation, reduced rolling resistance, and long-term durability in outdoor environments. The galvanized coating provides enhanced corrosion protection, making it suitable for residential, commercial, and light industrial applications.

Tested to 1.5 million revolutions under normal environmental conditions, the 826 PSO offers dependable service life with minimal maintenance requirements when correctly lubricated.

1. Prepare the opening: Measure the wheel cradle and use a cutting machine to create a rectangular hole in the bottom rail of the gate frame. Drill holes in the corners first to ensure a clean cut, then file down the edges.
2. Protect the cut area: Apply galvanized paint to the raw edges to protect the steel from rust.
3. Secure the wheel: Place the wheel into the cut-out, ensure it rotates freely, and use screws (like 6mm tek screws) to fasten it securely to the frame, ensuring it is properly aligned with the gate track. Avoid welding the wheel if possible, as this makes future replacements difficult.
