RETURNS & WARRANTY POLICY

We want you to be totally satisfied with our products and services, however, we understand there may be times when you need to return your online purchase.

Our Returns & Warranty Policy is designed to assist you in returning your product.

GENERAL DEFINITIONS

In the interpretation of this policy, the following terms shall have the meanings specified below:

VENDOR: Rolling Center Australia Pty Ltd and seller of the Product(s)

PURCHASER: the buyer of the Product(s)

PARTIES: the Vendor and Purchaser considered jointly

PRODUCT(S): the item(s) which are sold between Purchaser and Vendor, as described in the Sale Contract

SALE CONTRACT: any contract or document including, but not limited to, tax invoices

ORDER: any communication, whether presented in writing or orally, by which the Purchaser states to the Vendor its intention to purchase one or more products

ORDER CONFIRMATION: the form by which the Vendor declares to the Purchaser its intention to sell one or more Products

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: the instructions for assembly, operation and maintenance which may be provided with the Product

TECHNICAL AND CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS: any document supplied by the Purchaser to the Vendor regarding the technical characteristics required of the Product(s)

MANUFACTURER:  Rolling Center S.P.A.

WARRANTY DEFINITIONS

USE:  The Warranty only applies to a unit used by the Purchaser correctly and reasonably and product is maintained and serviced by the Purchaser.

PROVEN DEFECTS:  The Warranty only applies to the proven defect in materials and workmanship (manufacturing defect)

PROOF OF PURCHASE:  Including but not limited to a tax invoice or confirmation in writing from the Vendor that the transaction has been finalised with the Purchaser

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:  The Warranty does not cover damage caused by proximity to various corrosive conditions such as, but not limited to, water, sea salt, sand, dust, desert conditions or infestation of insects or gastropods such as ants or slugs.

YOUR RIGHTS

 We advise you that our Returns & Warranty Policy is in-line with the rights and guidelines under the Australian Consumer Law as stated below:

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

OUR WARRANTY PERIOD IS 12 MONTHS FROM THE DAY OF DISPATCH

The Warranty is expressed limited to manufacturing defects and that said warranty shall not extend to any damage to the products resulting from other causes including, without limitation, misuse, faulty installation or wear and tear, thereof the maximum liability of Rolling Center Australia Pty Ltd to the Buyer or to any other person or entity arising out of or in connection with the products and based on a claim of breach or repudiation of Warranty shall in no case exceed the price paid to Rolling Center Australia Pty Ltd for the product in question.

We offer a replacement, credit or refund where products have a major failure, such as:

  1. When they are faulty (this does not include the incorrect installation of our product, which results in making it faulty). Products assessed as having a minor fault will be assessed by the Manufacturer and returned to you within a reasonable time.  We offer a refund or replacement if the product is assessed as having a major fault due to a faulty product.
  1. Wrongly described or if you feel the product has been incorrectly explained
  1. Product is not suitable for your application after receiving it.

DELIVERY

We make every effort to deliver your package(s) within the estimated delivery time window, however, due to external factors, we cannot guarantee the delivery time due to delays.

Upon receipt of the delivery, all risk of loss becomes your responsibility, so please immediately check your delivered product’s condition and contents. No claim for missing or damaged items received will be recognised after 7 days of the delivery.

HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE A CLAIM?

The Australian Consumer Laws are not limited by a defined time period, however, our company policy stipulates faulty products may be returned up to 30 days from the day of dispatch.  This may vary slightly from product to product depending on factors such as the nature of goods and price (i.e. if goods are on sale, discounted or discontinued).

GOODS RETURNED

If you change your mind or you have ordered the incorrect stock, you must return it to us within 14 days of the date you receive it. You can contact us by telephone with your name and order number and we will advise the next step.

Any expenses incurred, such as freight, relating to the return of our product will be liable to the customer.

Items returned must be in “as-new” condition, being unused and in original packaging.

After we have received your item and confirmed it is in “as-new” condition, we will issue you with a refund less a 20% re-stocking fee of the purchase price less the initial delivery fees.

If you have purchased an item using free shipping offer and returned it because you have changed your mind, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. If proof of purchase from Rolling Center Australia Pty Ltd cannot be provided, then we reserve the right to refuse your product for return.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. Where the product is assessed as having a major failure or is visibly faulty, we will pay for return freight.
  1. Customised Special Order items may be subjected to a higher re-stocking fee.
  1. All purchases made on a debit/credit card will be credited back to the original card used for the purchase (excluding freight costs)
  1. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to you, financial or otherwise, arising from a delay in the time taken for us to replace or repair any goods covered by this warranty.

  1. Your name
  2. Telephone number
  3. A copy of your receipt/invoice
  4. Reason for your return
  5. Provide us with any extra information we may need on the product to assist us with processing your return.

Once the above procedure has been completed, your product needs to be returned to us directly at:

ASSESSING YOUR RETURN

Once we have received the product, we will do an initial assessment in line with our Warranty definitions.

We will then need to conduct an assessment of your product to determine whether a repair, replacement or refund is appropriate. Certain products may require us to liaise with our Italian manufacturer for assessment. This could take up to 7-14 days.

Products assessed as having a minor manufacturing fault will be replaced by Rolling Center Australia Pty Ltd and returned to you within a reasonable time.

We will offer a refund or replacement if the product is assessed as having a major manufacturing fault.
